Watch size guide
How a watch wears depends on your wrist, the case shape and the lug-to-lug length.
Measure your wrist
Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just above the wrist bone, mark where it overlaps and measure it flat. Use the table below as a starting point.
| Wrist circumference | Comfortable case diameter | Lug-to-lug (max) |
|---|---|---|
| Under 15 cm | 34–38 mm | 44 mm |
| 15–16.5 cm | 36–40 mm | 47 mm |
| 16.5–18 cm | 38–42 mm | 50 mm |
| 18–19.5 cm | 40–44 mm | 52 mm |
| Over 19.5 cm | 42–46 mm | 55 mm |
Other things that change the fit
- Thick cases (over 13 mm) wear larger and catch on cuffs.
- Wide bezels and dark dials wear smaller; thin bezels and light dials wear larger.
- Cushion and square cases wear larger than round cases of the same width.
- Bracelets can be adjusted by removing links; many have micro-adjust in the clasp.
