About these terms

These terms apply when you use oddwrist.com or buy from us. “ODDWRIST”, “we” and “us” mean the business operating this store from c/o Carmax Autocare Center, Plot A2 Billings Way, Inside 10 Degrees Event Center, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, our returns & refunds policy and our privacy policy.

Our watches and descriptions

We describe every watch as accurately as we can. Specifications come from the maker or from the watch itself, and unknown details are left out (see authenticity). Colours and finishes can look slightly different on different screens. Unless a listing says otherwise, our watches are not made by or affiliated with the brands they may be compared with.

Prices and currencies

Prices are shown in naira (₦), US dollars ($) or pounds sterling (£), depending on the currency you choose. You pay in the currency shown at checkout. Delivery charges and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. Your bank may charge a conversion fee if your card is in another currency.

If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then confirm the order at the correct price, or cancel it for a full refund.

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when payment is confirmed — for cards, when our payment partner confirms the charge; for bank transfer, when the funds reach our account. Until then we may decline an order, for example if a watch is no longer available. If that happens we will tell you and refund anything you’ve paid.

For bank transfer orders, we hold the watch for a reasonable time while we wait for your payment. If it doesn’t arrive, we will email you before cancelling the order.

Pre-order and made-to-order pieces

For watches marked pre-order or made-to-order, the dispatch time shown is our best estimate. If it changes significantly, we’ll tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

Delivery options, costs and any estimates are shown at checkout. Estimates are not guarantees. Responsibility for the watch passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns and refunds work as set out in our returns & refunds policy. Where a warranty applies, the product page states it and our warranty page explains how to claim.

Your account

Keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.

Reviews and content you send us

Reviews must be honest, about the watch, and free of offensive or unlawful content. We may decline or remove reviews that break these rules, but we never edit a review to change its meaning. By publishing a review, you allow us to show it on this website.

Our content

The ODDWRIST name, logo, photography, text and design of this website belong to us or our licensors. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.

Liability

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems can be put right quickly. Any dispute we can’t resolve together may be brought before the courts of Lagos State.
